The Montreal Heart Institute (MHI) is proud to announce that Claudie Roussy and Émilie Caplette are the recipients of the second annual Dr. Denis Roy Award for Excellence. Each year, this prestigious award honours MHI nursing staff members who distinguish themselves in their work.
More specifically, the award acknowledges initiatives that improve nursing practices, encourage excellence and promote the work of nursing staff.
“Nursing staff play a crucial role in the recovery of patients who pass through the doors of our hospital centre each year, and this award is intended to recognize their exceptional involvement and encourage excellence,” says Mélanie La Couture, President and CEO of the MHI. “The two nurses honoured this year stand out for their remarkable concern for the quality of patient care and their professional involvement in advancing nursing practice. We are proud to have them on our team.”
