Opening the fundraising season, the Grand Bal des Vins-Cœurs was held virtually on Thursday, September 9, with generous philanthropists from the Montreal business community. The 21st edition of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation’s signature event raised $1,002,040 for cardiovascular health.
Throughout this festive evening hosted by Julie du Page, networking, a gourmet meal by Fairmont Queen Elizabeth chef Baptiste Peupion and artistic performances by Cirque du Soleil and Florence K were on the agenda. Attendees reiterated, in the comfort of their homes, their support for the Foundation’s mission and cause, and their commitment to advancing cardiovascular medicine.
A heartfelt tribute to Lino A. Saputo
Joined by the evening’s co-chairs France Chrétien Desmarais, Anthony M. Fata, Mitch Garber and Tony Meti, the Foundation paid a heartfelt tribute to one of its most loyal philanthropists, Lino A. Saputo, Chair of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Saputo Inc.
The Montreal Heart Institute Foundation thanks its loyal founding partners of the Grand Bal des Vins-Cœurs, the Société des alcools du Québec and the Cirque du Soleil Group, as well as its other collaborators and donors.
