Guests attending the 23rd edition of the Grand Bal des Vins-Cœurs can take advantage of a 25% discount on a corporate membership to the Montreal Heart Institute’s EPIC Centre.

Become a member of the EPIC Centre

To sign up for membership at the EPIC Centre, you must first attend a guided tour where you will visit the facilities with a member of staff. They’ll be able to answer all your questions.

After the tour, you will be able to finalize your corporate membership. To take advantage of the 25% discount, simply mention the following code: CORPO_FICM25.

Administrative fees for opening the account are $115+tax (the discount does not apply to this fee). Administrative fees are non-refundable.

What’s included in the corporate membership

The corporate membership includes:

  • A health risk assessment questionnaire*
  • A magnetic key card providing access to the Centre’s various facilities
  • A 1-hour consultation with a kinesiologist which includes time spent learning how to use the strength training equipment. This consultation must be booked ahead of time. A staff member will be in touch with the member to book the appointment.
  • Unlimited access to the weight room and to classes with unlimited capacity (classes using the running track) that do not require participants to sign up ahead of time
  • Unlimited access to activities that require no supervision (badminton, volleyball, pickleball, ping pong)
  • Access to the locker rooms, showers and sauna
  • Access to open swim and group fitness classes in the pool
  • Unlimited virtual classes
  • Ten (10) classes per group per week
  • The corporate membership does not include:
    • Medical monitoring (blood test, exercise stress test, medical consultation)
    • Access to the parking lot (street parking only)

 

*Depending on the medical evaluation of the health risk assessment questionnaire, the participant may be required to sign up for the GOLD membership plan at regular price to benefit from medical monitoring.

About the EPIC Centre

The Montreal Heart Institute’s EPIC Centre is the largest centre for cardiovascular disease prevention in Canada with more than 4,000 members and over 80 employees. It is part of the Prevention Department at the Montreal Heart Institute.

Its members include individuals who wish to remain in good physical health as well as patients who have suffered a cardiac event.

The staff at the EPIC Centre includes general physicians, cardiologists, visiting professors, nurses, nutritionists, kinesiologists and lifeguards.
