$123,000 raised for the 35th edition of the Kanawaki Golf Tournament

The 35^th edition of the Kanawaki Golf Tournament was held on August 2. This gathering, the Foundation’s first in over a year, was a great success. The Foundation is proud to announce that a total of $123,000 was raised thanks to this event, the highest amount in at least 10 years!

Over 100 golfers enjoyed perfect weather as they gathered on the gorgeous course at the Kanawaki Golf Club. Adapted in accordance with the rules implemented to comply with health measures, the Tournament’s new format was well received by all.

The Foundation would like to thank the Tournament’s organizing committee members and donors for their commitment to the cause of heart health year after year. To the golfers, thank you for your enthusiasm for our event. We were quite eager to see you again on the greens. A very special thanks to our partners and volunteers, without whom this event wouldn’t have been possible.

The amount raised will enable the Montreal Heart Institute to continue its mission: fighting the world’s leading cause of death, cardiovascular diseases.
