It depends on the type of contribution:

• Online donations: you will receive a receipt by email within a few moments of your donation being confirmed (for donations of $20 or more).
• One-time donation by mail: you will receive your tax receipt approximately four weeks after your donation. If we have an email address for you on file, you will receive your receipt by email. If not, you will receive it by mail.
• Monthly donations: you will receive your tax receipt in February.
• Participation in an event: you will receive the receipt before the end of the current year.
