Marlène’s story
Marlène Freitas was in her early 20s when she was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, an incurable genetic condition.
Thanks to the care she received at the Montreal Heart Institute and the development of personalized medicine, she can now live her life in a way that she didn’t think possible. She can be there for her daughter as she grows up.
