The EPIC Centre’s innovative COVÉPIC project will offer at-risk adults aged 50 and over access to virtual cognitive and physical training programs from the comfort of their own home. A pilot project with 100 participants took place in the spring and summer of 2020 with conclusive results.

Funding would allow the project to be extended to 1,500 participants located in remote areas of Quebec. This would improve the health and quality of life of thousands of persons at risk of physical and cognitive decline.

These 1,500 participants will enable the project to develop an artificial intelligence platform that will provide personalized physical and cognitive training programs in line with individuals’ needs. The entire population would then be able to access the online platform for free. The project is expected to last 3 years.
